Well, I may as well start out like this: I had a lot of obstacles and tough breaks throughout life...I learned a lot from "most" (not all) of them...I had some relatively serious health issues several years back...and found out many of the reasons through a lot of research that took many years (and still continuing...as it seems to be a never ending subject).

I have been told I'm a unique person. I had quite and interesting adventure during my short 24 years. My philosophy is not to waste life away and to try and find contentment and fulfillment in everything. I'm stubborn. I've been traveling the country for the last year or so trying to figure out who I really am. Right now I am in the process of getting everything together to go to school to be an Art Teacher. I am a painter and can't live without music. I like tattoos but I only have three. My favorite is the one I have of music notes on my left ear. Concerts/shows are important to me. I enjoy photography. Abandoned buildings are fun to explore, I also seem to have a fascination with railroad tracks. I keep a journal of my experiences to use later on in my book. Sometimes I think I'm a walking contradiction. One of my favorite things to do is host dinner parties. I am a thrift store junkie. I enjoy dive bars. I like comic books and older video games, but there is nothing like a day in nature. Out of all the seasons Autumn is my favorite. I absolutely adore the sound of leaves crunching under my feet. I want my own organic garden one day. I am a cigarettes and coffee kind of gal. Textures and layers = fun. I pretty much just moved to Indiana so I don't know that many people yet.

Can a self summary ever truly be accurate? I guess it all depends on how well you see yourself as opposed to how others see you. So, here is a summary of how I see myself.

Yes, I am a computer geek. I'll get that out of the way right now, so the shallow people can move on.

I'm a pretty objective person. I think the world would be a better place if more people could look at both sides of things. I have a tendency to over-analyze, but that's the engineer in my personality, plus it runs in the family. This doesn't keep me from having a creative side, I played string bass once upon a time, and I still dig out my bass guitar on occasion. I tend to be fairly liberal politically, but I won't blindly vote for someone just because of a letter next to their name. I'm guess I'm agnostic because I won't deny the existence of god(s), but I also don't think you need a church (or temple or synagogue or mosque or whatever) to be spiritual. I think that the universe is wonderous enough without us inventing things to lord over it. A prime example where the iron in your blood comes from.

I like to play games in my spare time, World of Warcraft and Company of Heroes being my current choices. I've seen what happens when people get way too addicted to gaming so it's not the only thing I do for fun. Great way to de-stress the brain after work, de-stressing the body still takes exercise though.

I'm pretty picky about what I watch on TV, mainly drama and scifi. I miss Firefly, I really like BSG, used to watch Buffy and Angel while it was on. Had a hardcore Law and Order addiction for awhile, still watch it on occasion.

Now for the stream of consciousness portion of the summary. I stood on my patio for an hour amazed at the natural artwork of a sunset and a passing thunderstorm. The hail was only marginally painful. I've gone sledding at 2am on dining hall trays by the light of a full moon. Looking after my nephew never gets old, whether it's changing diapers or chasing bugs in the backyard. I miss my doggie; he died about a year and a half ago. Thought about getting another, but I want to wait till I have a good backyard. Okay, that's all for now.

My name is Matt. I'm a scientist. I like to solve things. I like knowing how things work. I love to sing. I'm not so big on dancing. I read Wikipedia for fun. I think working out is fun. I'll try almost anything once. I read like it's going out of style.

I'm a playwright, director, and producer. I'm also a student at KSU (senior). I'm the type of person who would go to a restuarant and sit there for two hours after I get finish eating just go socialize because I'm a huge people person.
I like to read and write and am beind molded into a thinker so I like the intellegent coversations.

I have problem writing summaries, to be honest. I just want to meet new people and to see if anything comes of it. I'm a short lady who has boundless curiosity. If you mention something once, I'll probably ask about it again. I like trying new things, and I tend to be a little geeky. I love to read anything from classics to science fiction to pyschological case studies to graphic novels to mythologies. I also like to play video games on my DS or computer. I dabble in writing (and I should have tried to make decent paragraphs), sometimes short stories, silly, romantic poems, or nonsense parodies. If not persuing games, writing and reading, I'm watching the television or making up some recipe off the top of my head and not bothering to write it down. One day, I will write down my recipes and take pictures of how it should look, least I forget.

I can be found at work and school. I'm studying accounting and business management at the moment and work part-time in retail. When not at work or school, sometimes I can be seen helping out at my church back home or participating in retreats aimed at young adults. I would like to take a moment to point out that my beliefs are just that: mine. I don't want to change your beliefs, and I expect the same in return.

I'm also a work in progress. I promise to be truthful, but I can do that only to an extent of what is true today. For example, today I may be craving extra-noodle soup but tomorrow maybe all about tacos. Time changes things including me.

P.S. I may be bi, but I'm not into polyamory. Great if you are. It's not something that appeals to me so don't expect me to join a couple already in progress.

I hate doing these stupid things. I don't think they should be required at all. If you want to talk about yourself then fine, but to force it just isn't right.

I'm currently a graduate student at IUPUI and soon will be graduating with a Master's in Biology. I live in the NW Indy area. I am a very driven individual and will not let anything hold me back. I'm in the process of applying to several pharmacy schools and hope to get the hell out of this state. I hope to meet some cool people. I try and go to the gym as often as I can. I enjoy running, lifting weights, and anything that involves working out. I really am a cool guy and I need to meet some new friends so I'm hoping this site can help me out with that.
