Spirit & Place: A festival of fun and ‘Food for Thought’
A key Indianapolis cultural event since 1996, the Spirit & Place festival grew out of a project conducted by Indiana University’s Polis Center in the 1990s that studied the connection between spiritual practices and inner-city life in the Circle City. Since then, the festival engages more than 15,000 people through a series of events and discussions each November. This year it’s Nov. 5-14, and its theme will be “Food for Thought.”
